plasma or lcd

what do you prefer. i just bought a 42" plasma hdtv, so, i will support the plasma guys. haha, it was a good offer, couldn't resist, i just saw all my off road movies, dp's and rg's and i'm in love with this screen,. so, what's your side of the story,? what's your experience?, :)

I've actually been shopping for a plasma myself. Costco has some killer deals on plasmas. I'm sure it's worth every penny but dang that's a big hit to the check book, LOL. I'm looking at the Philips with the ambient lighting.

i bought mine at COSTCO MEXICO, from this side of the border, usually the price here it's way beyond the price you will find in the usa, this time it had like $500 dlls discount, so , i bought it, final price was like, $1300 dlls, at 12 months interest free, i believe it was a good offer for a 42" plasma, the lcd its too expensive for what you get.

i read that the plasma screen has a lifetime of +- 80000 hours, so, many people says that plasma only last for about 8 to 10 years, well, that's 80000 hours of continues use, so, if you use it for 8 to 12 hours daily, thats more than 15 to 20 years, so, come one, from here to 5 years you will want a better one than this, right?

We have the WII and PS2 but no PS3 yet. I think there is a new Baja video game coming out this fall. Can't remember the entire title but I'd love to play it on my tv.
