That's Mike Duncan's truck - he owns FourXDoctor in Burbank? I was going through a bunch of old 4WD magazines over the past few months and ran across a feature on that truck in Four Wheeler back in '90-'91. Cool rig. Eric Heiden used to run a Scrambler like that too - called Gadzooks, iirc.

I was in Duncans shop when I took those Pics of his Pics to post here & ask what you Peeps might have on him..

Mikes Been lurking here on C3R.
& claims that if he started racing again the only one that might have a chance at giving any competition would be that black bronco.

So I told him thats the Moss Bros!
The people I usually go with & he says well I'd spank them all except maybe them.

Later than J.M. Bragg or Don Adams, but around the same time as Schwellinger in the Conejo Jeep. AFAIK, Duncan just raced his in La Rana, not SCORE, though.

No he never raced SCORE.

He says he was on the way to a SCORE race once but his tow rigs tranny blew on him so he didn't make it

He claims the truck is in race ready condition sitting in his driveway.

But he acts lazy about it. :rolleyes:

& build it back up to a worthy Class! :D

The way I see it Class 3 is the most common mans Class!

Theirs a Massive number of americans out there in love with the short wheelbased 4X4 rigs.
Like Broncos , Jeeps , Blazers etc....

& thats why I started this site!

If I can find the pics I have some photos of us going end over end doing about 65 MPH. Almost everything held up but the ft end of the jeep. The frame and cage was only a couple of inch's off the ground. Talk about a E ticket ride. Ths last thing I remember was we stopped upside down I was still straped in and I saw my co driver already out and running away. Found out he **** in his pants. I couldnt stop laughing.

Yes Todd you are correct. Had a shop out here in Anahiem CA. they set up my first gear set on my Solid D44 in my 78 BKO....Back in the day..:D dont have photos anymore...but memory still serves I think.

Hmmm. Seems like there was a lot of hood hinge checks, timing lights, batteries, walking, towing, hot oil, lack of oil, but no issues I can recall..

Yes I had Pinging issues on the fwy on the way there..

But during the run except for my exploding tool bag shooting tools all over the interior http://www.thewebwheeler.com/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif , The run was fine I never had to stop to fix anything while on the course it all seemed fine till I was half way across the lake bed..

You know what guys, we should all look at picking a race in early 08, perhaps even non-SCORE race (cheap entry fee), get a butt-load of class 3 guys out, put up our own side purse, handicap based on wheel base (something that we all agree to), and go have fun!
