I thought the 4 door exploders where longer than the Class allows?

That car is too long for class 3. I used to race against that Explorer when John Holmes drove it in Stock mini. It is a very competitive car in BITD class 3100 or SCORE stock mini and a super deal for someone who wants to break into racing. You could not buy the cage and the shocks new for the asking price.

Your right, that is a smokin deal. We looked at an earlier model one at the swap meet that was only $6700. It was also a 4 door, but good for 3100 class. Two drawbacks we saw were that it was only 1.5" cage (could it be that light?) and it was built for midgets! Our legs were squashed up against the steering wheel, and there was no way to move the seats back.

That Explorer was originally the Ace Motorsports Explorer - I got a bit of right side time in it back in the day.
