you can have both, it will depend on how big is your dashboard, haha,. electrical gauges are expensive compare to mechanical, we have electrical for trans oil temp,. mechanical for water temp and oil pressure,. have heard about many complaining about broken sender, that on electrical oil pressure gauge from autometer, really don't know the facts but thats what i have heard.
