I went out to the desert yesterday to Camp & hang out with Desert Rat( Terry ) & his wife.

& I started thinking how my dually really aint set up for where I typically take it, To The Desert.

So I've started thinking about it might look cool with a slight lift.
Something like a 6" lift running 35" tires...
Now remember its a two wheel drive truck, so I dont know how good of an idea this is.

But I'd like to get some ground clearance so I can get further out in the dirt.
yesterday Terry was guiding me to his camp & I had to be careful picking my line so I wouldn't get high centered on the whoops or what ever.
Not to mention my street tires are not made for the dirt either.

I never got stuck or anything, but like the idea of being able to go more places with less concern.

I'd love to see some pic's of trucks with my body style somewhat lifted to get some ideas of how it would look.

You want to go from one extreme to the other, just put it back to stock. A dually is a crappy off road vehicle no matter what you do to it.

1st off, I don't plan on making it into a Adventure toy,

But even stock, its not gonna get me too far out off the graded dirt road.
I'm just thinking it might be nice to have a rig beyond stock yet still comfy & better prepped for the dirt.
I did'nt lower it.
Thats how I bought it, at a great price, & now I'm considering what I should do to it to better fit my life style.

I'd like it to tow the trailer out further than I can now & maybe also be able to tow out others that get stuck.

I'm figuring at least an all terrain Tire & maybe an ARB?
Heck, I already have the air compressors..
