Hey guys. Michael Alden here. I've got that orange bronco that I've been racing for a while. Talked to a guy at tech for the TT250 that had a shirt w/ this link, so I figured I should register.
Had a great day racing Sat. Hopefully someone got some pics of me on the CORR track. I did my best to represent!
68MPH on the big whooped out section south of the Jean lake bed ('Tranny Alley') and 104mph on the lake bed!
So, what's the feeling on this years V2R? Casey announced total mileage as 1006 miles. I plan on racing it in sportman class. Any body else going to come out? It'd be great to have some other bronco's to race with!
Michael

Hello all. Finally getting around to registering here. I know a couple of you have emailed before about signing up here... I'll post up some pics, but I'm sure you've seen most of them.
Thanks!

I must admit your Bronco dont look familiar to me...
What race's do you typically run?
I'd love to see lots more of your Pic's.
How long you been racing it?
Is it Class 3 legal?

I'm sure you'll find some Bronco's to race with at VtoR, after all, this is Club Bronco. We need pictures of your Bronco, particularly the suspension.

Do you ever race it in Class 3?
I dont see any 300 numbers?
Is it not class 3 legal?

No, I never raced class 3. That's SCORE, correct? I've only raced SNORE and BITD. 8 and 1450 for snore, and sportsman for bitd.
Is class 3 a stock class? Not sure what the rules are for that. I can really only afford to race sportsman, unless the economy improves...

Mike,
You've done amazing things with that truck!
Here are some photos of it back in 2004....

Mike,
I've been great. Oddly enough, I bought another Bronco back in 2007, but it's not as cool as yours.
Here are a few more photos for your "before" file.

SNORE had 6 Class 3's entered at the MINT 400 last month.
MDR & MORE also both run class 3.
Seems you still have leaf springs out back & as long as your axles are not wider than 4 inches overall you might be legal for Class 3.
Being I'm at court right trying to get out of jury duty, I cant give you the link but I have alot of the basics for the Class 3 rules posted from the latest rule book & more others follow after SCORE's rules
I think SCORE is the only ones requiring you run a 2" cage at this point.
I think I posted it under the SCORE sub-forum, go check it out.
Would be great to have you join the ranks! :D

nice. I guess you can say it's grown up a bit... Sorry, still dirty from the race. Actually I didn't even wash it before the race. LOL.

Then, I guess I'm good. My beams are 2" wider per side and running springs. Cool. Thanks.
