Why make it difficult, what's wrong with a 3/4 ton Suburban or an Excursion?

If you can find a diesel you should go that route. Though the diesel powered Centurions command a lot more on the market.

Is your rig 4x4?
Cant tell from the Pic's.

I think some Centurions came in 2WD?

Truck looks like great platform to start with.

It's an I Beam two wheel drive with a full floater rear end. I wanted four wheel drive but so far this Centurion feels like it has some decent power at least on the road it does.

no ttb;)

A C350 4x4 would have had a Dana 60 solid axle not a TTB

Correct in the one tons, they are D60's

& the 150/250's the had HD D44's & D50's from what I understand.

Yeah, A van does seem like a cool idea & can be set up very cool inside.

& I like the idea of it being shorter than a C350, yet I wonder how much taller it is?

& I do suspect that their harder to find tha the Centurion.

Are there any cool 4x4 Van forums?

Yet if I remove the top of the C350 its a short bed pickup truck.
I'd have to cover the carpet to protect it & then can still fit a dirt bike in the back. ( Thats if I rode. )
But a Van, I'd end up setting it up as a Camper.
Toilet, bed, sink & fridge etc etc....
