His dash was mfg by Perry's Fab n Fiber, I used their larger version in my Bronco but I cut the gauge pods off the top on mine.

That little truck is looking good Sean.I remember the day your dad brought that home.We had identical trucks.Mine was cooler though.
My keys used to open and start his truck:eek:I think Toyota got that little problem worked out in future years!
Any more plans for it?

ya, same guy, it looks really good, i actually drove it around a bit yesterdy to work out a little issue we're trying to figure out, and, TO ANYONE OUT THERE WHO CAN ANSWER THIS,
now that my truck is linked, when i shift, the steering wheels turns, although the tires stay strait. it doesn't pull hard but just trying to figure it out...
but ya, riding is more important that school! haha
any poly goats on here??

any poly goats on here??
Only most of the Moss bros team!
You going to CalPoly or Cuesta?
Went to Cuesta and spent many a weekend at Pismo in my 64 powerwagon tank! Good times even tho kegs of beer don't work well in the back of a truck in the dunes.:o;)

I'm no help... used the factory dash (as best I could). Your dash looks better than 78% of the race trucks... we don't get to be that fancy!!!

Thanks!! im in the process of redoing it, need to get the gauges and the led indicators.
We had the same problem locating the dash around the transfer lever..... or larger considering the cab in the explorer is narrower. check our build thread for some pics.

Just under the tranny lever, you can see the transfer lever coming out off the rubber mat we installed to keep the mud out.
The base for the tranny lever was moved to the right just enough to allow unrestricted movement to the transfer lever, ending almost in the co-dogs side.

what has me curious... is that the steering wheel almost looks on the outside of the cage... It's probably an optical illusion?? like the driver would be sitting way to the right of the wheel? I'm sure it's the coors light that threw me off :0) ?

That's funny Cam.
Ken I see that too.I guess it throws you off because the cage attaches to the right of the steering column.Either that or we both got a bad batch of Coors Light!

that might work with a vise-grip... and would leave one hand open for the bad batch of coors light!! :D:D the co-dawg can shift, right??

See! there's the problem with your eyesight! Coors? need to switch brands amigo...I recomend....Pacifico, or Estrella, or DosEquis ambar, or Negra Modelo, or Bohemia, or Montejo! They go best at room (or cab) temperature with a nice slice of cold pepperoni pizza seasoned with baja silt, shaken (not stirred), directly from under the prerunner seats....stink you later!
We have a new cab interior pic in the works... stay tuned!!
Check out the new cab interior here:

ANd when those aren't readily available, Master Adolf has some fine delicasies that roll out of Golden Colorado... my waist line is still under control, ao I take my Coors Full throttle, as opposed to light....
Then Again, I drive more of a Bronco than you Coors light drinkers do.. so that may be the correlation!:D
