Very impressive first lap at Primm, just a shame the second one went south along with a front axle. Given the speed the ramcharger was pushing Skilton thru pit 2, would bet it was Matt at the wheel? :D:cool::p Props to Gale for showing him how to do it over the years!
Very uncharacteristic of you guys to DNF, what happened?

well thanks for the good words, we were 2 minutes back from the jeep when the front end broke. what happened was our front right tire collided with the rear tire of another truck while passing causing a stress crack in the housing early in the race. as time went on more pressure on the housing causing it to eventually break in half next to the pumpkin . kind of a fluke occurence as it was looking like an interesting last lap

Dang, you guys were really running well. What axle are you guys using? Wasn't it built with another axle, and if so why did you change? If it is a 44, see the build up that is posted on the thewebwheeler.com site, our third version that is surviving the best. Still didn't help our situation in this race with the failure of a spindle snout. I am working on the story, came home to some chaos that I am still working through.

yeah we had some custom setup on the truck i dont know exactly what, everything internally was sound, just the housing that got ruined
