Hey gang,
Now that I've moved to 37" BFG Projects, I need to open up the wheel wells on my 86 Bronco. I'm thinking about getting the Autofab rear panels. What are you running and if you could, I'd like to see some photos. Thank you.

Being an '86 you could just cut along the body lines to open it up for free.
& if you do it right it will looks clean..http://www.thewebwheeler.com/forums/images/smilies/m2c.gif
I'm gonna have Rodd Buldge out my rear sheet metal for me & if that dont come out right I'm gonna go with AutoFab.

You can also do a pulled bedside. If you are not in a hurry for the bedsides, i'd wait untill the next Leduc offroad swapmeet. Fiberwerx had bedsides for $350.

That's a good price. I paid $400 for a set. $400 is probably the regular price.

Hi again,
Here is my experience... the fibers you can buy need to be bolted to the steel... I found myself asking "why".
Like the previous post. you can trim your fenders, do it slowly and carefully with a rotating tool and thin blade. It's not perfect, but why bolt on 400 dollar fenders that shall be ruined in the dirt.
Just my opinion, but the fiber-stuff doesn't buy you squat. then again... i'm a racer, not into cosmetics!

Thanks guys for your responses. I think even with the cutting up the wheel well or bulging it out, my wheels will still hit. I'll find out for sure when I have my suspension cycled through. I'll keep you guys posted.

There's a guy on RDC, I believe he goes by wrightbros, that had glassed rear panels. I used to see his bronco around where I lived and always thought it looked pretty nice.
You should shoot him a pm over there and get him to post about it over here (if he's not already registered)

I've got Perry's Fab 'N' Fiber panels on the back of my 82' and they look awesome and they update the tail light and fender opening!

That's a 33" tire too... I have 35"s on it now and those springs should settle a bit once I jump it a few times.
