Hello from Colorado Springs, CO
Ill be quick, I like long walks on the beach and someone who.......OOPS wrong site.......Just jokin.
I found the site recently while searching "1970 Chevy" on race-dezert.
I joined because I am looking to get into some sort of off-road racing.....the problem in there’s nothing in my state. I race a few things locally but there is no real off road racing in CO. we have a track not too far from home but it’s not what most would call "dezert racing"
I like the Class 3 and the 1450 classes but still learning about other classes and helping with a local track to start some fun racing circuit. But, I want to build my truck to a "Class rules" so if I ever have the option to race out of state ill be legal. The "1970 Blazer" build caught my eye
I’ve raced 3 years at local dirt track, approx 40 races in the same vehicle across the state, ran figure 8's on asphalt, and completed in a Colorado Hill Climb race......well sort of. and still drag race my nova (currently crashed)
all while raising a family and working two jobs.
All of the above makes my progress slower than others. IMO work and Family comes first
anyway....class 3 looks awesome. I like the vintage stuff and want a place to race my future vintage truck...possibly class 3.
I don’t take a lot of pictures and spell badly without spell-check……so apologies for future bashing
Here are some pics of a few of my toys.
the 56 truck is being converted from flat track to offroad, and my nova pic is fresh from the ditch after a dumb ass move on my part
(its the only one i have on my computer)
