This is my first time posting here and I respect those who are already out there racing these trucks.
The Score book is vague and it is hard to interpet what can be done. I come from the class 8/1450 type truck and I want to build a 4x4 for Baja, so I have some basic questions. These are specific to a Bronco TTB.
Are Coilovers legal in the front?
Are air bumps legal on front and rear?
Are longer leaf springs 62" legal on rear?
Is a 3 seat setup legal?
Can the body behind the B pillar be removed and have fiberglass rear fenders and a fiberglass shell made to keep the factory appearance?
Does the floorboard behind the seats need to remain stock?
Are 1 pc front clips legal (within the stock plus 4" rule)?
Is the rear track width open to the same plus 4" rule?

I don't want to start this thing and not be legal.
I did look at the ATK jeep build and it had all most of things I want to do but I want to make sure they would transfer to a Bronco platform.
Thanks in advance.
Todd

Front coilovers are legal
Air bumps are legal front and rear, but you cannot cut the frame and insert them into it
Any size leaf is legal in the rear as are the mounting points
3 seats I would think is legal but better check with SCORE
Rear fiberglass is legal but I think the cab must remain stock steel
You can cut all the floors out that you want
1 peice front clips should be legal as long as it resembles stock appearnce and I don't think width matters on that aspect
Rear track width is also open to +4

SCORE Class 3 rules (from the '06-'10 book) - Class 3 Racing Forums

I never actually finished posting all the rules but you'll get a great idea from this thread. :)

I read that thread. 2 things jumped out. The item about one coil spring per wheel on the front with the stock mounting method and the suspension "bump stops" being ruber, urathane, plastic etc. It does say secondary suspension allowed but kinda misleading. There was not info on chassis and body that I could find in that post so I asked about the body. I wanted to use the stock cab and doors and B piller but behind that all tubes with fiberglass.
Thanks,
Todd

Primary coil springs are limited to one coil per wheel & must be mounted according to stock concept.

I don't blame you for inquiring about this rule. Because as I read this, it makes me want to call SCORE and ask Savage how a coil in a stock spring bucket compares with a coil-over. If it were a Mac strut, maybe, but there is no way a coil-over equals stock concept.

Also, a mulit stage coil-over has a least two springs, sometimes three. The rule says one coil, not a bunch of little ones. If we were to call the second spring, secondary suspension, then it would only be legal if the ride height didn't drop by an 1.5". How many mult spring coil-overs aren't going to drop at least a couple of inches upon removal of one of the springs?
