Hey guys, i'd like to get some other opinions. I started with the idea of powdercoating all my tubework blue

I'm going to have a rear bumper fabbed, and also a confer rack for the top that will also be powdercoated blue, do you guys think that it will be to much blue, and should i do it all black? Btw, the truck will be painted dark shadow gray.

1st off, I think your too concerned about looking cool to others.
Being that you posted this confirms this...http://www.thewebwheeler.com/forums/images/smilies/4.gif

But then again I do understand..

I myself never ask for approval of my ideas on what I want to do , I just do it..

But yeah theres alot of shiat talkers out there...

The way I see it, is 1st whats most important is what you will feel proud to jump into & drive....

How proud of your tube work are you?
Doing it all in a loud blue tells me you want people to see the efforts you put into it!
It does help make it stand out! http://www.thewebwheeler.com/forums/images/smilies/cheers.gif

I personally prefer to stay low key...
& thats why Blanco is slowly becoming a complete white/Hammerite black combo finish! http://www.thewebwheeler.com/forums/images/smilies/m2c.gif

I think it will look good, as long as you continue with the blue for the cage and maybe accent the seats or harnesses. Cam is right though. Your opinion is all that matters. Just have fun with it. If it turns out like poo, then just do another color......or chrome it all!

Okay now that was funny. Broken, I have to agree with Cam, build what you're going to be proud of. Though I do remember back in the day when I was a mountain biker, I ended up anodizing most of my mountain bike components in red and it looked bad @$$. So in my opinion, I like my Shi-at to match nicely. As you can see from my avatar that my white fenders and hood definitely don't match and I can't wait for my paint job after the suspension work is done.
