If they end this grandfather clause, anyone wishing to race Class 3 in the Mint 400 with a 1.75 OD cage who weighs over 4000 would no longer be legal.

That is my understanding!!

Consider sending SNORE a message?

I guess it's ok for Nascar to run 1.5 inch DOM and go 180 miles an hour... but we should have 2 inch cages.

Just a bit concerning, as SCORE grandfathered most of us in... but now SNORE is bagging out on it??

Did you read the whole thread Ken, at one point they have said they will be grandfathered if they have a score or snore tag prior to 1/1/2010, then they said 2011.It's still under discussion.
I've been following the thread.

I read most of the thread... I agree with your statements, I'm just saying a few more of us should be chiming in.

Seems pretty stupid if SCORE grandfathered us in, gave us a tag, and now SNORE suddenly seems high-and-mighty and wants to end the grandfather clause? (without much, if any, warning). I think we all assumed we were golden.. not just for a couple of years, but for the life of the truck. What do I know?

Can't wait to pay for my annual bullship cage inspection with Bill and his minions. I'll never forget when I protested to Bill that this inspection should be bi-annual, at MOST. He said... "it's not like its a lot of money". I retorted "275 bucks is a LOT of money on MY budget Bill". He just rolled his eyes.
