The Chevy for my kid was based on a couple of factors, starting with with price. $1,100. It has a 130k miles and is runner. The plan is to use it to help our move, and then get this Ford fans, we'll sell it for a Bronco.
Race plans center around the Mexican 1000 for the first half of the year.

Sweet! BTW... this last Bronco I got... 96 with 110k miles. drove like a DREAM!! It wouldn't pass smog so she took even less than she wanted. I paid 1700. It was in GREAT shape, until I got ahold of it... took the top off and headed for mexico on about 5 different trips.
If I were you though.... I'd buy an 83 or 84. I don't know anything about fuel injection and computer-controlled ignitions. Same front end, etc... You could even get one with a C6 and a 9 inch. Any newer and you are stuck with an E-40D and an 8.8 (poop... in my opinion).
