is there an established venue of races for points? same as last year, or just not really being addressed? just curious.

Ken, was the man behind the Cup.... & I considered taking it over.... But fear of that commitment kept from it, so as of now unless Ken feels motivated, the Class3Cup is pretty much over... :(

Ya, sadly the idea has merit... but at the end of the day, we each have our own agendas and "drive".

Some want to race high-profile races, some want to race cheap races... some refuse to travel, some don't mind it. Nobody seems willing to budge, so we all do nothing?

Moss warned me early on that this was like "herding cats"... boy was he right.

Again, it's a bummer because our class appears to be dying on the vine. Casey dropped Class 3, zero SCORE entries so far this year... SNORE only gives us class 3 when we have a few entries (Mint 400 the last two years). We'd all be SO much better to drop our BS egos and agendas and agree to go racing together... but I got tired of trying. Cam was the only other person to bring in an outside sponsor.

I wish something would happen. I have this great race truck sitting in the garage rusting. I don't have the time or stamina to chase this again.

Gunna race the 1000, I guess... (Norra and Baja Mil)... then get a wheel-chair.

i dont think the class is dying but simply taking a breather, there;s only about 3 or 4 trucks that run more than a couple races a year. like you said the different agendas is whats killing the class. it seem though as a majority of the projects in the making will forever go unfinished, however there are some promising looking trucks that will be finished and possibly breath some life into the class.
until the numbers go up regardless of agendas nothing will happen. i think most of us can agree the point of going racing is to have some fun and good competition and i think different demographics within the class is an issue tool.
ive tried talking my dad into doing some of the lower budget races because they had entries but he simply doesnt want to do all that prep work and effort for a little race in barstow. he'd rather go to baja or the mint or V2R.
its discouraging because its a great class and aside from running a class 11 or jeepspeed is one of the cheaper classes to get into racing.
