I go by Dust because at the moment I am in the wind.:(
Been building 4x4's since the 70's for fun and profit.
Ran a 79 Bronco in the 80's and was running 18" of travel in front and 10-or so rear. The truck was rather stock by today’s standards.
Currently Not running much on the way of a Class-3 but thinking about building a new 78/9 Bronco just because.

I have a 429 powered 75 Highboy that I occasionally fly.
Located in Oregon.
Prolly I'll be mostly lurking & reading for a while

Hey dust, did you ever race your Bronco in any Oregon races in the 80's or 90's??

Hey dust, did you ever race your Bronco in any Oregon races in the 80's or 90's??

Back then, before this Al Gore created interwebby thing, living in PDX I didn't even know there were any, and I think about the time I had a clue... The races were gone.
And no I had a mortgage and was raising two girls that grew up wheeling all over the PNW… The Bronco had more suspension then most in that area at that time. Realistically there was no way I had the $$$$$ to go racing! I knew about the various Dirt Bike races in Central Oregon, and in the coast range… Why not the others? HFIK…
Today? I’d rather build then drive competitively.
You that growed up in the 80/90’s do not have any idea how lucky you are, to be able to just buy bolt on parts. I scrounged, and read parts specs and cobbled up stuff to attach to Shadetreefab’d parts…
It is so easy now to just bolt together what I used to call a “Catalog Truck”!;)
