Hey ... prob. should have done this like 20 posts ago or something. Anywho, I'm Jonathan from Las Vegas/Boulder City. I'm married and got a 1 year old son.
Originally from North Carolina been in the desert for about 4 years now and been involved with desert racing for all of about 6 - 8 months now. I used to do a lot of SCCA and drag racing back home and would "snub" my nose at the truck guys ... but I've found my ways :p . I just picked up a 1978 Ford F150 4x4 last month and plan on using it as a "hybrid" desert toy/daily driver/trail truck/chase rig. NOT looking to build it into anything dedicated .. just something to have fun with in a variety of offroading.
I am the co-driver / navigator for Eric Palacious class 11. Driven in the 1000, 250, Battle at Primm, Gold Coast 250 .. and the other guys took the car out for a race in Apex last year. Totally hooked now! Going 25mph in Baja We're currently looking to unload the class 11 and while we were planning on getting a 1600 car, now we're focusing more on what it will take to run Class 3.
Other than offroad racing, I'm into fishing/hunting, snowboarding, paintball, and guns. I'm a physician, but also part owner of a gun manufacturing company. We are currently building AK47's and AK74's and just got approval from the ATF to begin our AR15 sales on our on lowers.
