this guys will run in their dakar vw's , cool, but, mmm, does anyone dares to predict their performance at baja?

Neither they are in a class of their own. They have as little or less travel than some class 3s but they could still outrun RGs Hummer to Dakar. Should be interesting.

The race vw's are very trick. Turbo diesel motor, full from the ground up race cars. I think that with the small suspension travel they have they are going to have to slow way down in the rough spots and whoops. Mark Miller has spend a lot of time in baja though, so he should know how to get it to the finish.

they are goana get to the finish line for sure, no doubt about it; they are going to start behind the trophy trucks, but, i think they aint gonna survive the battle of the class 1, they will eat a lot of class 1 dust, .. unless they do some serius modifications to they dakar racer,, wheel travel and biger tires, they use i think 31" tires i migth be wrong, well, let me search the real specs of those vw's..
