Has anyone recieved this month's Dirtsports magazine with the Retro Bronco come back? You need to check out Speed Unlimited's beams. Amazing. I just talked to BJ over at Speed Unlimited and they will be offering a kit soon.

Has it come out yet? I never see dirt sports in the news stands, I haven't read anything on that retro bronco since early 06'. I guess I should just subscribe.

Shane,

I don't think I've ever seen it on the news stands. I've always had a subscription since it launched at the Off Road Expo in LA in 2004. Check out this link. This was the earlier work that started on the Bronco and then the magazine took a total different direction on this prerunner by stretching it 12 inches and completely tearing it back down to a basic chassis and body and starting all over. It looks like it's going to turn out to be an impressive vehicle a la Goodman Bronco.

Yeah, I thought Wow!

This would be a Sweet Class 3, then I saw how they stretched it.
I was dissapointed.. :(

Ive only bought the mag at baja concepts and ORW but I just subscribed to dirt sports so straight to my doorstep know.

I did read all those articles in the past on the retro bronco but it seems like they just stop working on it for a year or so. Cant wait for next month mag haha:cool:

That thing is more TT than class 3 now. I marvel at the time that has been spent on that rig. The ttb on it should be hanging around some rappers neck not hiding under a bronco:D

Yeah i was blown away by it. Previous to this edition I too thought it would be a perfect example of a class 3. Hard to call it a retro now...

Amazing build non the less.

They spent 6500$$ on a rear axle. Thats insane. A little out of my budget.

That issue is more commonly refferred to as the "Donaoe FJ Issue of Dirtsports". You can't turn a page without running across that dang thing in there. That's a great marketing job guys, should be a real shot in the arm to the class and off road in general.
