Start checking the simple stuff like that you didnt lose any wheel balancing weights. Then on solid ground (pavement), have someone turn the steering wheel back and forth with the engine off, and sit under the front of the truck and watch what it does. Look closely at all the connectiong points, all the bushings.....ect. It's amazing what you can find by doing that. Any oil coming from the shocks, tires out of round, flat spotted?

well i know it's not the tires .. no asphault it's fine. but dust gave me a bunch of things to check so i'll be going through it when i get a break off work.

Well ...

hahaha ...

the track bar is loose like a mofo just b/c of worn bushings, and then like EVERY other bushing on the front of the truck is either worn, cracked, or otherwise beat down. also, the old school lift kit has to go along with all the shocks and springs. the shocks look well used up about 5 years ago.

last thurday i stripped the hubs in some sticky mud so now my 4x4 is only a glorified 2x4. :x

but that's cool ... it's getting hot as the summer's coming on, and i'm actually getting ready to move. so once i get to my new place truck is getting torn down to the frame. gonna' get rebuilt with a mis-mash of componets from Cage, Superlift, BroncoGraveyard, King and Deaver ... fibergalss on all corners, and i'm gonna' pull the 400 and drop in a 351W. so in about 3 or 4 months the truck will be in pieces and honestly will prob. stay that way for the remainder of a year i'm guessing. haha. but should be good times and a fun truck once it gets back together.

i was trying to decide if i wanted to race it or what, but i've come to the conclusion that it's gonna' be delegated to pre-run and chase duties. so i'm gonna' try to build it to be a very functional rig (ie: onboard air, plenty of lights, room for storage, etc.) ... and then hopefully by Christmas i'll be able to pick up a good platform to begin building a Class 3 on (most likely a early '80's Bronco).
