Alright guys, lets hear your rants. It doesn't matter what it's about, off road related or not.
My first rant is vehicle smog tests for registering your old rig. It is getting harder and harder to pass smog tests with my rigs. And I think most of those smog test shops are literally blowing smoke up your @$$.
I once showed up to get my 1984 Ford Bronco smogged. The wannabe mechanic aka as the smog test technican told me that I need a new hose for my smog device. I asked him to point it out, the dumb @$$ ends up pointing out a hose that is directly connected to my a/c pump. Oh course I told the jack hole that hose was not a smog pump hose, we both ended up raising our voices. I told the three customers who were to lining up for a smog test after me that that guy was a rip off. They ended up leaving.
