Well, for those that dont know, I am active, and stationed in South Texas..

I have been obsessed with Baja, and off road racing for as long as I can remember...

Have built a few toys, but, nothing class legal(no racing here in TX, at least that I know of).

Well, I am going to procede with making the Rodeo comply with Class 7s.;) ..

I have wanted to run at the Baja either 500 or 1000 AT LEAST ONCE, just to do it.... :D :D :D

Anyway, showing my g/f(who actually OWNS the bronc), she thinks it would be fun, to do the bronc as well...

SO, now, once the money situation settles, with the custody battle, I will be working this over ALONG with the Rodeo...

BUT, I am going to be giving it a whirl on a super lift 4 inch in the front, for now... have enough beaches around here where I can play, and see if I need more...

SO....

Here we go... time to give it a whirl, will also need advise on shocks... have Procomps now, and a good deal... will keep reading up, and scoping other ideas...

At least 4 teams that we have raced with in Class 3 are based in Texas, and there was a race held in West Texas earlier this year.

So you're prepping it to do what?

to run either the 500 or 1000, AND SURVIVE....

Sorry, was a little tired, and... well, had a bad day yesterday...

I KNOW I wont be able to win anything... ha, not even close with my budget, I just want to do it... just once...

Yep, we know all about the distances. Ensenada is 14 hours. Closest SCORE race, Lauhlin or Primm, is 10 hours, and we are in California!

Dont get me wrong, I know alot of others have to drive long ways to get to some races...

I was just stating...

Trying to do this on MY budget, well, thats gonna be tough, BUT, I am gonna go for it...

Money will go like this...

Safety, cage, harnesses, etc,

Suspension(mainly, shocks, and maybe springs)...

Hopefully, if it passes tech, go hit a race, and play...

Go from there.
