Free trucks

So when I was down in Baja, I was hanging out waiting for the truck to come by to pick up talking to this guy there. He was telling me that Toyota and I want to say Nissan are giving away free trucks for racing programs. Basically you have to submit a proposal along with financial records to prove you can build it and then they will give you a brand new truck to start building for the stock division.

Anyone else heard this? :confused:

i mean it's not like i have the money to even worry about this since they want to see the entire budget in full sitting in a bank account. but still.

Actually, Honda did that*(or something similar) last year, or the year before with the ridgeline....

Instead of doing it themselves, they got together with someone, and it was built by CaRR. The result, was a well sorted out truck, that, by everything I have seen, can hold its own...

I am sure, the Nissan and Yotas will de as well...
