Looks like we will be running the Aug 11 night race with MDR. We will have a writer from one of the major off road magazines co-driving with us for the first half of the race. I would encourage all of my fellow Class 3 drivers to consider attending.

Surgery for a couple of months.... This would be a perfect shake-down run before the 1000. The race is in mid-August. The entry is $400. If it matters, I would offer to help on either the entry fee or some credit towards the travel costs, such as gas.

Not that it matters much but i'm hoping to be out there spectating. Would be nice to see a good turn out for the class. I may be able to offer some help in the pits too....

If your out there Spectating, you should be ready to help. http://www.thewebwheeler.com/forums/images/smilies/m2c.gif

Are we not all into this together?

I personally dont go to race's to just watch...
But maybe thats just me?

I've never been to race that I was'nt part of a crew in some way.

I must admit I can see the fun of not having resposibilities & be able to just get drunk without having to think about helping a team..

But if I can go Raffo can completely count on me to support his efforts! http://www.thewebwheeler.com/forums/images/smilies/7.gif

I'd welcome any and all the help I can get, but for this race I'd like to offer this help to any of the class 300 guys that are racing.

Sounds like this could be some good publicity for the class. If I could race, I certainly would. At the very least I will be there to support the effort(s). Count me in for chasing, pitting or just standing around and looking good. :D

I'd like to see if I can get a class sponsor for the event. If I can get a grand or two, maybe I can give folks a little tow money.

Hey Chris,

Count me in. Hey Nick, we can caravan over to the race site. It was great meeting you and Tom and the rest of the gang at the RedArt Beard parking lot sale.

Your jumping the gun a bit there.
I'm all for helping but I just had knee surgery and need to take things easy over the next 6 months, thus the I don't know how much I'd be able to help.

Bump!!! What happened to my post?

Anyway, turns out Chris is the lone Class 3 warrior for this race. I'm planning on being there to support/cheer. Who else is going? Read the beginning of this thread if you haven't.
