Does anyone have a parts list or build sheet that I could use as a base to start with? Trying to save a little time. Type of vehicle doesn't matter. I need to make a parts and cost list ASAP, like yesterday. (I had one done last year, but it's GONE! long story) Maybe something your working with or something you used to build your truck. Maybe something on an excel spread sheet.....or whatever you got. With or without your estimated costs on it. I will add my own estimated costs or adjust what is there. Thanks a TON! Jerry

That's an excellent item to have, unfortunately I don't know where the one I had went either! It was on a spreadsheet, and was done 7 or 8 years ago, maybe more. I'll have to search some other old stuff I have. I am not suprised that is something you had worked up before, I won't ask where it went. If I had $0.00001 for anything I ever lost off of a computer........

When you look at the number that comes up at the bottom of the page, it will scare the hell out of you, but that's reality!

Probably double it first....and then it will be reality! :)

Don't know if this is what you are looking for, but I put it together before I started building ours. A lot was changed, but it's a starting point anyway. Hope it helps. I had to convert to a word table because this forum wouldn't let me upload an excel spreadsheet.

Thanks. Looks pretty good and simular to what Jack and I put together yesterday and today. Mine was also on an MS excel spread sheet so I copied and pasted here in case it could help anyone else. If anyone wants it, PM me and I will e-mail it to you in the MS excel format. Anyone have anything to add to it? I tried to put it in order with what connects to what and worked my way through the truck. A little easier to picture that way to make it less likely to forget to much. Thanks. Jerry

You forgot the fuzzy dice!:D

Don't see Alternator(s) and PS Pump(s)

By they way -- we were about 3x over our original estimate!:(

PA system???????? Does this count as your horn?

Fire Extinguishing system - Even if you have a built in system, they will want you to have regular fire extinguisher(s). (I know you meant this, just to point out to others)

You'll also need a belt and drive system for those pumps and alternators.

Oh, and the ludicrous double D rings for the shoulder harness! By the way we have a BUNCH of extra ones now.

Otherwise, a very good start to a list, there are only another few thousand more little parts and trips to the store...... Get to work!

LOL!!!:D Glad to see we're not the ONLY one's to ever scramble Ensenada trying to find a pair of the illusive little D rings!

By the way, Jerry -- he only wants you to hurry and get to work because he wants to take your money!! ;-)

Good luck to you in Lovelock. Cliff and I are going the other way on Sunday and see if Robby Gordon can pull one out of his hat on asphalt at Sonoma. The other Gordon and Johnson are starting at the back for illegal fenders?!?! I know, nothing to do with parts lists.....
