Is it called a cowl vent panel?

Best place to pick one up for a 92-96? The old 84' panel doesn't work
w/ the new hood and so far no luck in finding one(only been a week tho). Thanks

Have you tried National Parts Depot?

I would also try LMCTruck.com or if you have one in your neighborhood, Pick A Part junk yards usually have a few broncos. Especially if you are close to the border, I've seen some border patrol broncos. Also trying Ajax Salvage, they pick up a lot of border patrol vehicles, so you'll definitely find some broncos in that lot.

Up by me there are two full service junk yards I've had good luck with. Both will tell you if they have the part and give you a price over the phone. You'll get a better price in person though:
Placentia Truck (714)996-1620 (these guys are always my first choice)
All Ford Auto Wrecking (714)993-2110 (more expensive option)

Other have used these guys with success but I haven't dealt with them:
Rocco’s Truck Van & Four Wheel (714)554-9800

Yeah im going to have to try the junkyard in Oceanide today since its the closest junk yard to me. I really dont want to drive dow to chula vista or national city.

I tried the sites that blanco and bajabronco recommended but no luck, no one seems to sell this replacement part. Off to the junkyard I go.

Thanks for your help:D

I work for AT&T and they block access for ebay, I will have to wait till I get home. What is it?

It's the cowl vent piece you are looking for. It says it fits 92-96 F-150 which should be the exact same as the 92-96 Broncos cowl. It has a buy it now price of $44.00 and change.

price: US $44.99

A used front cowl teal in color to match your trucks original finish or could be painted to match, there is one very small ding in the right hand corner which is hardly noticeable and a very easy fix. Removed from a 1994 Ford F-150 XLT truck. Perfect replacement for your work truck or everyday transportation. Mat fit other 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 and some 1997 model year trucks, check with your local dealer for proper fit and application.

I gave my buddy my entire front glass, fenders, hood and 96 grille because I wanted to run the old school 86 grille and Autofab fenders to fit that year. He is looking for that same vent to replace the og from his 90 Bronco so that my old glass will fit on his front end. That's the prices he's been quoted from a Pick A Part yard and a "Ford Only" salvage yard in LA but they didn't have any on hand. So I think that's the going rate.

I know you already have a hood and may want to keep the vents but there is also a full length hood out there that replaces that piece. Probably wouldn't be technically class3 legal if that mattered.

I'll look around work to see if we have any laying around, we have hundereds of these trucks and parts all over the place.

Hey Salt, if you find a second one, let me know. My buddy is looking for one too. But Shaner has first option since he posted his request first. :)

Im not the biggest fan of those full length hoods, which is why I went with the fiberglass replacement hood.

I work at a farming company and we buy 50 to 100 new trucks every year to change out the older trucks of the fleet of 200+. I am pretty sure there are some 92-96 F-150 part trucks still around. I just need to check the different bone yards to locate them. - Gary.
