Well guys,
I've been off here for a while [if any of you have even noticed haha] and just letting you know what's been going on. After the 500, I've been slammed at work and haven't had much time to do anything or post on here much. We did the KC BITD race in Boulder City [where I live] a few weekends ago in the class 11 with very poor results. Infact the worse yet we've raced. We had an oil line explode while motor was as full revs and nuked the engine in literally 15 seconds with no warning. We were amazed at how quickly it went. So now the 11 is down until we get a new motor for it. But the big news, and probably one of the reasons I've been too busy to even post much on here, is that me and my family are moving back east [we're from NC originally] and getting closer to home so my son will be closer to his grandparents and such. So ... in a way I guess it may mean closing a chapter out in my short, but fun, desert racing carrer. Once I get settled in I *MAY* consider putting a C3 together. But realistically being 2,500 miles away from the races and from the desert it will probably logistically just be too hard for me to figure a way to do it [unless anyone needs co-drivers hehe]. But, be sure I'll still stop back on here and DesertRides from time to time and check in on you guys. And who knows, maybe I can pick up a shotgun ride with one of you crazy nuts next year or something :D .
