I've searched high and low, even asked ToddZ for help finding the car my dad use to race/co-dog in back in the 70's. I finally found three pictures that I've had etched in my memory since childhood. The picture below is the only one scanned in and "fixed" somewhat. I'll get the other two, which my mom took, within a couple of days.

I told Todd this picture was from the cover off Off-Road, but it was actually a centerfold. John McCue is driving. According to my dad, the car was actually vertical and looked like it was going over, but recovered nicely. Unfortunately this page was in a frame and all that was left of the magazine. I was at that race, but at in '74, I was just 5.

Great photo. What a cool family history to have... Some day our children and grandchildren might be sharing photos of current racers in there "old school" race cars. I can see it now;

-"Remember back in the '00s when the class1 and trophy trucks only had 800hp and 30" of travel???", says Yikes Jr.s buddy

-"Ya, my pops used to run a classic Bronco Class3 with 20" travel and 300hp. He'd tear it up down at a place called Baja three times a year. Here's a hologram of the old horse on the front two wheels, if we turn on our virtual reality iPhone we can ride co-dog with him down zoo road.", respond Yikes Jr.

Ha!! Yeah, that's about it right there. The grandkids will actually be laughing about the goofy metal spring thingy's that held the "transport" up and how they actually used to drive "transports" touching the ground......"most of the time" :D

Finally got a couple more pics scanned in. My dad was co-doggin' and holding his head off of the cage in the first pic. I'll take some pics of his old helmet next time I get out to visit.
