Hey gang,
I'm looking for a set of 6 used BFG all terrains for mock up, hopefully with at least 80% tread. If you know anyone in the Los Angeles / Orange County area, please let me know. I found a few on Race-Dezert and DezertRangers.com but they seem to be outside of LA and OC county.
Thank you.

If they're just for mock up why do need any tread at all?

Chris...
...try Pirate4x4.com
there is always a bunch of tires for sale...might get lucky and find something local.
dont forget the freebie section...if they ARE just for mock up. Ive picked up 2 complete sets of rollers over the years in the 35-36" flavor. finish with them and pass them along.

Because it's a good idea to have some spares around.
Thanks Loco, I'll take a look at Pirate.

I'm also looking for a set of five 35 x 12.5 x 15 MT style tires, BFG are preferred. What width and wheel size are you looking for; I'll keep my eyes open. If you happen across any 37 x 12ish x 15 MTs I might be interested in those as well. They would force me to build the sheet metal TTB but that might be the only way it'll get done.:)

151fab I'm not sure if you have seen these in person, but for about 3 months I ran these tires on my Bronco. First I thought how sweet it would be to run 37's with long travel, but they looked goofy as hell. They appeared super swaper-ish looking with a 15" wheel. If I where to run these I would get a 17" wheel to compensate for that large ass sidewall. One thing I was surprised in was that the sidewall flex on these things wasn't as bad as I anticipated with a 15" wheel. IMHO they just didn't fit my style. I changed my prerunner "status" to some confused idiot running big flotation devices under my truck.. Went back to 35" BFG, tried and true.. What was I thinking??

But what did you do with the 37"ers. Those things take up alot of room, I could store them for you...

Sorry I took them back to the tire shop and they swapped them out for new 35" BFG MT.
Cool deal since I was able to use them on a few good camping trips.
Wait I just found a pic of my truck with them.

Your right that thing does kinda look like it can float. Still undecided though. I found a set of 37s in ontario for $100 bucks so if the guy still has them I might try them out. I have beadlocks so the mounting is free and easy and a buddy will balance them for free too.

What kinda tires are those & how much tread?
If you end up not wanting them I'll buy them off you for my Samurai! http://www.thewebwheeler.com/forums/images/smilies/ewg.gif

Picked them up today, they are 37 x 12.5 x 15 Goodyear Wranglers. About 40% tread, nice and even wear. I've got to pick up some new beadlock rings from Champion tonight and then I'll mount and balance them tomorrow. If they don't work out than your first on the list, Blanco.
