So I ordered up some Deaver 4" lift long travel leafs for the front of my 1970Blazer. I was told the rear spring hanger needs to be moved back 4.5" but I am unsure of the shackle length. Does anyone have any experiance with these springs or this set up? BTW, this is not a race truck or even a serious prerunner, just a little light duty desert use. I also plan on using 12" Fox 2.5.
Thanks for your help.

Deaver should be able to advise you on the shackle length. I would think that something like 7" or less should do it. The stock shackles are probably just a bit short for new spring length.

i thought deavers for the rear of blazers pulled something like 14-16 inches?
maybe its differnt for the older blazers(69-72) then the newer ones(73-91)
how long are the new springs in the rear?
edit: i see the springs in question are the front ones...as for the rear shackle length i think he's right bout the 7" shackle.
