hi guys maybe some of you can help me out here i have a 350 chevy and a quadrapuke on it and its a dam alcholic i cant find a good setting for the carb to make it more fuel efficant i know it always gonna chug gas but as of now it has a erratec idlefalls on its face...alot so i was wondering if some of you know of a good allaround setting i can do. the carb is new and supposedly "factory tuned" but im not sure

Sounds like the secondaries may be opening early. Give the carb shop (http://www.customcarbs.com/carbshopcatalogQjet.htm)in Ontario a call. They build some killer Quadrajets. They built an 800cfm for the 420hp 468ci in my old Blazer. It never failed me off road and I got 14mph on the highway.

No. It's been about 17 years. I don't recall what stage I ordered, but as I recall it wasn't very expensive at the time. Especially considering the results. Even for a stage one, they'll want to know engine size, vehicle and weight, gear ratio, cam profile, exhaust, intake, primary vehicle use, etc.
