For sale:
Complete custom rear suspension and custom rear end out of a 96 Bronco Prerunner. We have decided to stretch the wheelbase and build a 4-link rear suspension with a wider rear end so the entire rear setup is for sale. This is the exact same rear suspension as I have under my yellow bronco if you are familiar with that. This is a bolt-on kit with no cutting, no welding, and it all fits under the body with stock body mounts. This is out of my dad's bronco and has not been abused (unlike mine which I terribly abuse every prerun!)

$3500 obo for everything:
King 3"x12" triple bypass res shocks (race series).
Spirit Bronco rear shock hoop with frame reinforcing brackets.
Limit straps (two triple straps per side, 4 straps total).
National Spring 2.5" wide leaf springs (articulate easier than OEM 3" leafs)
Spring shackles all poly bushings and 4130 sleeves to fit OEM brackets.
Spirit 2-link link bars that cycle properly.
Compete custom rear end by MIT and Spirit features:
Ford/Sterling 10.25" center section with ARB Air Locker and 4.56 gears.
35-spline aftermarket high alloy axles (Superior brand?), 5x5.5" pattern.
Ford big bearing housing ends for the semi-floating setup.
Wilwood 4-piston calipers with internal drum parking brake and disk brakes.
Housing is trussed by Spirit and has boxed leaf spring pads.
Includes tone ring to drive an E4OD, ABS, and electronic speedo.

This is a fully functioning, well sorted, bolt-in setup. The leafs need to be rebuilt and there is a cracked leaf. All else is 100%. Housing is straight with no damage, no leaks. It works excellent and this is a killer deal at less than half the price we paid to build it. Travel is a little over 16"

Chris,
I am interested in the two link portion. Unfortunately I have everything else including the 2.5 Nationals. Does the frame mount bolt on? If so, would you be willing to sell the two link set up seperate?

I personally looked over that White Bronco right before the 500 & its a well built rig...

Should be interesting to see what you do with it now..

Might you consider starting a project thread on it? http://thewebwheeler.com/forums/images/smilies/16.gif

The 2-link bracket is integral with the front spring hanger and is tabbed into the housing so I want to keep it all together. It's a well integrated complete system right now.

Chris, were you considering going witha four door rig? I thought you had a thread at RCD discussing the subject. If so what where your reasons for sticking with the bronco and what where the other ideas you ran across/considered? ...if you don't mind.

There are two different broncos, one is mine (yellow), and one is my dad's (white), they both have the same Spirit suspension on them. The parts for sale are from my dad's bronco. He is having it caged, stretched, and 4-linked.

My bronco was already caged and is basically done. I have a few more upgrades planned for it but I'm keeping it stock length and on leafs. But I'd like to build a replacement for it with more wheelbase, 4 doors, 4wd, 4-link, etc. Leaning toward a Suburban body with a D50 TTB front and possibly a new generation lightweight turbodiesel. But that is just in the dreaming/planning stages right now and may never go beyond that. I've also thought about building a Centurion but the wheelbase is too long. Alternatively, I've also been kicking around the idea of building or buying a Class 3 race bronco. I looked into converting my Class 4 but it was a little too wide and being a prerunner too complex and too nice to cut up for a class 3 so I sold it.

I thought that was you. Too lazy to go back over that site to find the thread. I posted a few times about the next gen "small block" diesels coming out in the next few years. I can't wait to see what Ford comes out with, I wonder if it will fit well in the Bronco?

Sorry for the hijack, good luck selling the goodies.

This is a bad pic, but it's the only one I have on this computer.

Thanks steve.. That pic used to be on their website w/ a brief desciption, but they must of removed it. Also I always thought Cam's donor vehicle, the black bronco, had that setup when he put it on his truck.

I was looking to see a pic of how they did the rear...
