Pre-running Primm or Not & why?

I've been wondering how many of you racers plan to pre-run & in what, do you have a dedicated pre-run rig?
Or do you pre-run your racer like the Moss Bros do at Primm?

I'm going but I don't know exactly in what. I have pre-run Primm in my race Blazer, and have used my straight axle Suburban in Baja.

I thought i read on rdc that they aren't allowing race vehicles, bikes, or side by sides to prerun.
