Shell gas money?

Any body taking Shell up on its contingency for the thousand? It looks like SW4X4 gets 165 gallons for winning. Thats a pretty nice prize! I think it was 60 for second and 50 for third.
All you have to do is run shell gas and two stickers.

How would you bring all the fuel with you down there to run the race?

I thought they did'nt allow that at the boarder?

You are exactly right, there is no simple way for the average racer to do this. There is a mechanism in place for the existing fuel suppliers to do this, it is basically imported and warehoused in Mexico. I predict some problems this race, there seemed to be a power struggle going on between the players. We have talked with a couple of new fuel suppliers and they have not been able to figure the importation thing out. In fact we have been talking to Shell for 2 years now and can't even put a deal together for the US races, they keep telling us to hold on a little longer.
