It's almost 4 a.m and I headed out the door from Chicago to San Diego. I'm aiming for the BFG meeting in SD on Friday. Shouldn't be too bad, but I have to stop in MO. for a trans rebuilding for the Sub! Wish me luck.

Best of luck on your trip out. It looks like the weather should be in your favor. You have had that transmission in and out of that Suburban more times than I change underwear. I was in Indianapolis week before last and if we had a little more time would have driven up your way.

Good Luck Chris...

We'll see you in Ensenada. Enjoy the drive.

Have a safe trip down Chris. Give me a buzz when you hit San Diego.

It's impossible to appreciate the dedication it takes to make that kind of a haul for a race, not to mention multiple races throughout the year, without actually doing it. Looking forward to hearing your name as you cross the finish line.....albeit from 1500 miles away. All the best to you Chris, as well as the Raffo Racing team. Tear it up!

Chris, was this still in Ensenada, or later in the race?

This happened within site of the dirt coming out of Ensenada. I had the 300 in my sites and was closing. Yeah, I know it was in the first couple of miles, but it felt great right before the driveshaft departed

Chris, it sounds like you have had your fair share of driveshaft problems throughout the last few years. What have you found to be the weak link? What kind of driveshafts are you running?

Chris, I was going to ask where your story was, then I found it on your website. You guys went through a couple of pickup loads of parts! Just needed a little more time, you were so close.

Hey Chris, I spoke to you during contingency while you were waiting to Tech, thanks for the info on the class and refering me to the forum. My old Chebby should be done this winter so I can start getting dirty with everyone next year.
