So who has upgraded their body mounts? The truck's lower bushings on every mount are very loose (and the bolts are tight) but the top/upper bushing are in perfect condition. I was thinking of just replacing the lower bushing with poly and retain the oem rubber ones on top.

Anyone switch over to poly?

I can't remember so i'll ask but are you caging your truck? If so I'd just go with solid mounts. As for poly over regular rubber the only thing I could think of is that polies more rigid and prone to cracking (as far as I'v heard, atleast).

Caging next year, I hope. I figured the poly would work with and w/o the cage. SO aleast I could firm up the ride for a few desert trips in the meantime.

well I would'nt say it really tied in like a racer..
Mines pretty much only tied in at the floor & fire wall.
But as far as the upper body.....
It still flexes some..:o
I just hate to give up the factory interior cum-forts.. :o
But I suppose it's at about that point to tie it all in HUh?
