I know how rumors and such are but what do you guys think. I'd be up for a change of scenery.

If the 250 moves to Puerto Peņasco (thats the name, not "Rocky Point") by the same logic, the 500 and 1000 would also move, and you would have to go in to other states in Mexico such as Sinaloa,
now, you think Baja is dangerous?
A lot of drugs are grown in those southern states, are we going to be running the Culiacan 1000 over pot fields... I think not.

Also, that would leave Baja open for other racing organizers to move in and fill the void, you think SCORE is going to let that happen?

There's no place like baja, toto...

i agree with u, not because you move to a place that it's anknown by many of us it does mean that is safe, like you said, at least here everybody knows that the drug lords are based or are from sinaloa, so, i don't know, i think that what has happend at baja can be fix, if you focus on what happend and how that happend, you will know how to fix or avoid that, so, ...

Wow ... I hope not ... That IMO would be a very very bad move. Baja is special. It's where it all began. The people down there expect it and are willing to help out and such. Why mess with a good thing?

Rocky point is awesome (at least it was when I used to go... I hear it's changed a LOT).

Anyway, I also here it's a major pot grower zone, and there may be just as many issues there.

If they leave San Felipe again, I'm not even considering racing. I love that race for the town, Pete's camp, camping, the beach, the nightlife. Screw it if they leave.

Sounds like the Class 3 boys are leaning towards the Mint anyway.
