Are you joking?

But if your serious, what do you know about it?

I think they are just starting to chip out of the ice and snow in April, so I am skeptical...........

Actually there is a ton of racing in Montana...they have a 2 hour or so race in the snow in February or March, plus lots of tough truck and a few short course races. It is low key...and somewhat low budget, which turns out to be the most fun a lot of time. I cannot remember the website for the Montana 4x4 association, but get a hold of Tom Miranda, who I think is a member here...he races a scout.

OK... enough joking, ha ha.

Most of you know my truck stays in Idaho now. What I can say to this, is that the BORE series has some really great competition, and last time I raced there, I was up against two or three jeeps that really were bad-ass. We traveled a whopping 45 miles to race in July at the Jackpot 250. The other races they put up are in Wendover, NV... which really isn't that far away either. I think for 08 they are adding a 4th race. Sorry that I don't have the website handy.

We got a nice plaque, a decent check, and I think we only finished 3rd (or was that 2nd). Anyway, like SNORE, they combine you with other classes... but what a FUN race, and a lot of people from Twin Falls and Boise came down. That is the closest thing I know of... to racing in Idaho. I've heard of racing in Oregon and Montana (per the other post). Unless you are in the panhandle, it's not that far to race in Jackpot.

Hell... we trailer all the way to Mexico from Idaho. (we... being my father and whomever he can round up!!)

At the risk of pushing the issue (again)... there are some REALLY cool races at various parts of the country for less money, where it would be AWESOME to have a big showing of Class 3 racers all pursuing the same interest.

I gotta tell ya though... it just doesn't seem like too many people are keen on the idea - at least not ONE race team has said... "I will do this man".
