Brings back cool childhood memories. I vividly remember standing along the fence with my dad's goggles on and watching the "heavy metal" go at it. In fact, I recall a Blazer or Bronco rolling. Eyes wide open and hooked for life! That was around 1975 or so.

Thompson ridge was way cool, I loved watching Walker Evans pass everyone on the outside, up high, throttle pinned and full sideways. The land rush starts were cool too.
