Hey all!
Merry X mas!
was looking thru the C3R photo archives and it seems that Broncos and jeeps are C3R favourites, how about some credit to the chebbys?
Here's one ...

I'm sure Chris Raffo will be happy to see another Chebby (LOL) on C3R.

I spoke with the owner of this truck, Dale White, a couple of years ago. I just wanted to see if I was missing anything in the development of my Blazer that he might of had experience with already. It turns out that I had run into all of the same problems of trying to get a leaf-spring solid axle truck to work that he had. Ultimately he had converted his front end to the newer style IFS. Savage had let him convert his older chassis to use the newer arms.

Loved Dale's truck(s)! He races Porsches now.

I'm looking for pictures from the 93' SCORE season of Dale White's Blazer. This is the year they converted to A-arm and torsion bars.

Do torsion bars work good for desert racing? The reason I'm asking is I never see any full size GMs racing the stock class' only Fords and Dodges.
Not trying to change the topic just curious.

torsion bars have been the primary method of spring buggies for years and have more recently been replaced by coil-overs in the open classes. Torsion bars are well suited, but are more expensive to build than coil springs.
