'07 Baja 1000 on TV this Sunday, Dec 30th

On Sunday, December 30th at 3PM ET/12PM PT NBC Sports will air the 2007 SCORE Baja 1000. The one-hour special broadcast will feature point-to-point coverage of the infamous off-road race.

Hosted by veteran broadcaster Bill Weber, voice of NBC's Motorsports coverage since 2001, and comprised of a near-record field of 424 starters, the broadcast will mark the 40th anniversary of the SCORE Baja 1000.

Additional video clips and photos from the race are available at www.thebajaunlimited.com. The official SCORE Baja 1000 DVD will be released via the website shortly after the broadcast.

Media sponsors for the 2007 SCORE Baja 1000 broadcast include Honda Motorcycles, Volkswagen, Red Bull, Garmin, BFGoodrich Tires and Energizer.

Thanks for the info Cam. I just checked my Tivo and it's scheduled to air at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday the 30th not at noon.

I have to agree Flyin. It wasn't all that great. At least there was a one 2 second shot of the Class 3 FJ Cruiser but other then that I wasn't all that impressed.

I enjoyed it....as the entertainment that it was. Of course they didnt cover the class 3's. They never do. If you were expecting that, then of course you were going to be dissapointed. I would love to see them cover ALL the classes, but it's just not going to happen. You will get a little more coverage of the (not so fast) teams with the BITD coverage. They televise all their races.
