View Full Version : I need Pics of Sheet metal Dash boards
Blanco

I'm about to take Blanco back to Fantelli Motorsports for more work & I've pretty much decided that I'll be going with a sheet metal dash.
& that means I'm pretty open to almost any layout I want. http://www.thewebwheeler.com/forums/images/smilies/7.gif
So I'm looking for ideas....
Blanco is a street driving Bronco that goes to & from its play & is also driving around town a couple of days a week...
So I cant go with a full on race design that has a co-Dawg in mind because I'm usually alone when I'm off road....
Rodd Fantelli can pretty much build me anything I want & so I need ideas....
Of what I'll want to make sure I include such as daily driver comforts & race comforts etc............
I will diffenity be adding a Crap load of gauges!
I like Gauges.. http://www.thewebwheeler.com/forums/images/smilies/7.gif
( I drive Big rigs for a living & am acustom to lots of gaugse...)
Not to mention I like to know what up with my stuff. :D

Great topic. I'd like to see some pics as well. I'm currently ripping out my stock dash in my Bronco and have no ideas on what I'm going to do other then mounting the steering column to a spreader bar. Blanco what are you plans in terms of the guages, A/C controls, GPS mounting for your dash?

There was an even better one on dezertrangers I was trying to find but the board kept giving me trouble. If I get find it I'll post it.
I know I already posted a pic of mine in another thread but here it is again with a couple others of it.

I still need to run some sort of ducting to the vents to make them functional though...

Gauges Autometer Phantom Gauges.
A/C? Not sure maybe the factory sliders unless I can find cooler controls.
& I'll probably go with these vents..

Blanco, here's your dash, unfortunately it is not sheetmetal. On the up side, you have time to save your $$$, since it took them a year and a half to build this one.
