Hello all! I am new to the site, and I look forward to learning everything I can. OK, maybe seeing a few races too! I am from Pismo Beach, Ca., and I moved to Nevada 15+ years ago. Lots of friends and family still in Cali, but I will retire here. I have been into hot rods & 4x4's all my life. I rebuilt my 67 Stang from the ground up to be a cruiser, racer and show car. We raced it in Fallon for a few years. The car runs mid 12's. My dad was in process of building a hot rod, while I enjoyed my Stang. He was sand-dragin' back in the 70's with a wicked Jeep too! When my family and I moved to Sparks, Nv., we didn't have room for the Pony in the garage. I "sold" the pony to my dad for a few dollars so I could continue massaging the Bronco. Now he is having the time of his life! Car shows, car show, car shows! He lives in Fresno and he has actually put together a show, "How Valley Nights" sponsored by the VFW. Anyway, I am currently in the process of building my '73 Bronc. I like to watch the rock crawler stuff, but thats not for me. My goal is a radical trail rig that I can still take the family in. I have a 408 stroker and a C4, along with a garage full of parts. The body work is 98% complete, and I am now cleaning/painting the frame and the underside. I have Cage suspension, a custom rollbar, Painless wiring, custom tie-rods, blaa blaa. I recently had shoulder surgery, and I will be back to light-duty in 2 more weeks. After that, I need another 2-5 months before I will be 100%. Until then, I will read and dream! Oh ya, I love hunting, fishing & boating too. (You can see how much I get out lately) Wife says, "race the Bronco?....go for it!" She is way cool! So there ya have it. You guys have a great site, and I am here to learn or be the pit-boy if you need a hand (hint hint). I do have a few tools, some skills, a sense of humor and willing to travel a bit (my budget has limiting straps-short ones)! Wheu...nuf said. If you have 5 minutes of your life you don't want back, check out my video showing some of the work on the Bronco: www.youtube.com/go5ooh
