Hello my name is Brant. I am almost 20 years old. I live in Yucaipa CA. I am Currently attending college, trying to get into Nursing School. For my job right now I work For the San Bernardino County Regional Parks system. We do everything at the park, anything from irrigation, to using $60000 Toro mowers and our Cat Backhoe, You name it we do it.

I may be new to this site but I am not new to Off Road. I've been riding dirt bikes since I was 6. Unfortunately I broke my Femur but fortunately thats why there are trucks. Me and my brother have just finished up his class 1400 sportsman truck so its time for me to build a well built chase truck.

For my Project I purchased a stock 95 Bronco XLT with a Stick 5.0 302 in it. I am almost all ready to start I'm just waiting on some parts.

Heres the planes

-Camburg ttb extended and trussed 4" over beams - All ready purchased
-Giant 64" leafspring kit- need to order
-3.0x14" Sway Away Generation 1 Dual rate coil over for the front w/ 1-1/8 shafts- These are like a throw back to how old Kusters were built. Purchased
-3.0X18" Sway Away Generation 1 triple bypass with piggyback resivore for the rear w/ 1-1/8 shafts. Purchased
-Northern aluminum radiator with dual Fans- Purchased
-Fiberwerx One piece clip- Purchased
-Fiberwerx fiberglass bedsides- need to order
-Camburg Full Floating rearend, Wilwood calipers, 5/8 lug, Locker, 9+ nodular case (3rd member), 35 splined axles. Purchased
-6- 17" Walker Evans Real Beadlocks w/ 37" Goodyear Wrangler Projects. Purchased
- Momo quick release steering wheel and hub. already put on.
-Headers, exhaust, intake. waiting until suspension is handled.
- Buckets and 5 points. Brand is undecided still.
- And a 4130 2" X.120 wall cage on the main tubes, and various sizes of 4130 for fill in tubes 1.75,1.5,1.25 bumper to bumper. Purchased
- RacerX intercom/Race radio. need to order.
- And then nuts, bolts, limit straps, brake lines, etc
- My engine has alot of miles on it so when it blows I will be putting a fuel injected 347 Stroker in it with 430 Hp and 440 ft lbs troque.

I might of forgot somethings but you got the idea. This will be a daily driven truck.

Sorry for the novel but I was told to do an intro so there it is. I am looking forward to being a member on this site and to share my off road enthusiasm with others and am looking to meet some of you. thanks

Sounds like a sweet Bronco your building.
Is the one piece front end a Bronco or F150 Clip?

& I'd recomend building your Cage to SCORE legal rules, Just in case. ;)

& I'm just wondering, How did you learn about our Site?

I had an 83 with a 302 and a manual 4-speed (no granny low). I never should have sold it, but I was chasing/pre-running hardcore and needed a pickup. I need to post pictures to see if anyone ever comes across it.. just for fun. It was beautiful (after a 1300 dollar color change).

Love the manual tranny! Wish there more out there!!

btw... sounds like you have a LOT of nice stuff for that pony!!

I do plan on building all the cage work to SCORE regulations, but I don't think its gonna be Class 3 qualified correct? Sense I'm running the Camburg beams and those are extended 4" per side, and what I understood from the SCORE rules it could only be extended 4" total overall, not to mention my tires being wider than stock. Please correct me if I wrong.
I found out about this website from reading on Race-Dezert along time ago, I just never decided to join cause I didn't have a Bronco at the time. And I as well am a fan of the Manual transmission in a V8. I was kind of skeptical about buying this bronco cause it didn't have the 5.8 and an auto tranny in it. After driving a 5.8 auto and the 5.0 manual, I didn't notice tha much of a difference in power, and sticks are fun anyhow haha. So I ended up with this, and will probably keep this forever. I'll be sure to start a thread on the build when I get there.

You are correct about the beams being over SCORE's allowed length.
But keep the cage to SCORE's rules & if the bug ever bites you hard enough it would'nt be a big deal to swap the beams.. http://www.thewebwheeler.com/forums/images/smilies/m2c.gif

& if your running the F150 clip, that will have to go as well.

Here's some pictures.Like I said before "Its just stock" well except for the steering wheel. But it's a pretty clean ride for $3200
