Just curious those of you running rear leafs.... Are you guys running 3" or 2.5" Spring? The Deaver 3" springs seem a little stiff.
If you are running 2.5's, is there a good place out there to get some shackles and hangers?
Thanks

Hey Grimm,
I'm running 2.5 Deavers. Call Bobby at Solo Motorsports in Azusa, California. That's where I got my shackles and spacers so that I can run F150 springs on my Bronco spring mounts. Nice set up.

We are running 3's... but Jeff at Deaver tells me the 2.5 will cycle faster. It's not so much the stiffness - if your vehicle is light they can fix that. ASK JEFF. Our pony works very well - but I do get a bit of a "kick" I'd like to reduce - especially when empty. I've tried playing with the shocks, but you can't overcome a spring-rate issue with shocks, in my opinion.
I plan on trying the 2.5 in the next year or so. thanks for the link about the shackle/spacer above.

We use 2.5" springs, with home made shackles and bushings. We will have to check out the stuff available from Solo. I recommend using something that is readily available, this stuff gets abused heavily and must be replaced regularly.
