The only things I saw that could have run class 3 were Mike Birds Bronco and a red jeep that broke down on Python.Neither were in class 3 though.Mike was in class 8.tough class for a bronco.Im curious how he did.Saw him go by once.I wavved and gave him the thumbs up.

Hey guys, B.I.T.D. does not have class 3 anymore. I tried to enter mine but was told I had to enter in class 8 if I wanted to run( not a real good chance of beating those guys). I did see the bronco at contengency and said hello and good luck. Also saw the ATK jeep running in jeep speed class 3700 and also wished him luck. We were at camped at osborn wash, about race mile 15, and both trucks looked good and fast, but only saw the jeep on lap 2. It was perfect race conditions for all and was about the fastest race I have seen there. Thanks Tim

Your Jeep would have been legal in class 3700 along with the ATK Jeep.

We had 27 Jeepspeed cars start. 50% were 4x4 but now not Class 3 legal because of bumps stops in stock location but in frame. We are accepting any applications to run in our Class 3700 on a case by case basis and would welcome full size Wagoneers. Class 3700 winner was Jon Krellwitz Wrangler and 1700 Eric Helgison Cherokee

I planned on running it in jeep speed the time we showed up to race in class 3, but we were the last one to tech and were told we would have to get the o.k. to enter 3700 and we would have to find clive somewhere in the casino. Needless to say we could not locate him in time and just decided to go help in the jeep speed pits. Thanks Tim

We were in first place 80 miles in then this happened...

It wiped out the entire passenger side of the jeep. It also broke the leaf pack in half, bent the rear shock shaft and blew a softball size hole in the tire. We got it going again minus a shock but the trans had also been having issues all day and it finally gave out at the end of lap 1.
