My cousin and I are hopefully going to watch and learn. He's pretty flaky though so we'll see.
Anyways if anybodies headed out let me know so I can keep an eye out for ya.

Looks like the Bronco is superimposed on the shirt and a great april fools idea.

Getting ready to head out now, Blanco we finally got our class 3 racing sticker on our truck, looks pretty sweet! We will most likely be pitting north of S/F, see ya all there.

After the race I took a closer look at his racer & realized its a factory linked rearend suspension.

Just imagine how nice that must be to legally run a linked rear end on a class 3.

I did'nt get Pics of Cervantes Bronco after the race but I did see that he had matching broken leaf springs on the back of his Bronco.
They were broke in the same spot on both sides. :eek:

Maggie & I Headed out at about 8pm from Burbank to meet Terry & cynthia in Barstow. ( about 2 & 1/2 hours from home for both of us. :o )

Anyways that night Terry & I went out hunting for fire wood to add to the Firewood Terry already brought with him & then found this guy.

I woke up about 2 Hours later than I wanted too & found the race had already started. :rolleyes:
My plan was to be at the start line to meet & greet the Class 3's. :o

Here are a few shots from the race and a recap of our efforts: The winds were up during the race making for a clear course for everyone thankfully.
First lap was Sal's fastest w/no issues, 2nd lap off by a minuet or so from the first lap was clean as well, 3rd lap he came in for a dump can of fuel and to fix the hood clip that had broken and the final lap he had to strap the hood down again, no issues at all really but upon finishing it was discovered that both rear leafs had broke into 2 pieces and there was a slow leak in one of the rear tires as well. Both most likely happening on the final lap. All and all a great run for the guys and with 33 starters, they were one of only 17 finishers with just a hair under 2 hours to spare. Nice to have met Cam from Class3racing after the race as well as Jason from Old Broncos Rule. We will have to get things fixed and see what race will be next for the guys. Best thing is that Sal was well (healthy) and had no issues during the race, finally!
