Hey, everyone. I've been lurking since the beginning days of the site. Wow! Class 3 is going to blow up in the next year or two and I am going to do my part. I to am building a Class 3. Very early stages. I am building a late model Bronco. I have been going down to MX for the past 3 years, supporting Old Horse Racing and for Moss at the 2006 SF 250. Hi, Cam. BITD has dropped Class 3 & MDR seems to be about to follow... :(

But maybe if this Site does what It was intended to do, BITD & MDR will see the error in their ways! :cool:

Yeah, well....here ya go. Just bought some Mastercraft 3G's and GPS. I am working on the rear end and fuel cell (amongst a bunch of other stuff) and am getting ready for the B1K. Hopefully right after the B1k we will start on the cage and keep rollin' form there.

Yeah, it's been a while. Been crazy busy...or something like that. :) Well, I posted up a while back that I was pretty sure that I am done with Mexico and decided that I would build a truck to race in the states. I decided to run BITD and since they dont have a class 3000 (3) any more, I looked into all the other classes and I am going with class 7200, also known as Mini TT. They have 3 rules.
1) must run a 6 cylinder motor.
2) 85" max track width (outside of tires)
3) must run some type of fenders/body.

That's it! NO OTHER RULES! So, I am building a 125" wheel based truck with a Ranger TT body to fit it. A-arm front, swing arm rear, 375HP V6 Ford motor back about 10", TH400 tranny, full tube chassis.....bla bla bla...we will be pulling 22-24" of travel front and 32" in the rear and should come in right around 4,000lbs. We are just about done with the chassis design in CAD and are hoping to start fabbing in a few weeks. We have a pipe dream of the BITD Vegas to Reno being our inaugural race in August! :) We'll see how far we get. FORD puts up $5,000 for FIRST Place, $2,500 for SECOND, and $500 for THIRD in this class at EVERY race for an A-arm truck with a Ford motor and Ford body. Very cool. Ford has a very sweet FORD PERFORMANCE AWARD PROGRAM in BITD. Check it out...http://www.bitd.com/downloads/Ford2007PerfAwards.html
Anyway, I am still hanging around here and i will definately see you guys at some of the class 3 cup races....if not pitting for the Moss and/or helping anyone else that needs, then just watching. :)

I am still building my blazer for class three and am planning on competing. No progress yet, I still cant walk on my broken foot. I have been doing ALOT of research and planning, so in a couple of weeks I will be hitting it full speed ahead .
