Just wondering what kind of mufflers, if any, you guys are using and are they mandatory in SCORE? Thanks

mufflers are not required, however SCORE will require a spark arrestor or muffler at the US races. To preserve your sanity and hearing in long races, I would recommend some kind of muffler.

Can you run old school Cherry Bomb mufflers like I did on my 1965 Jeep CJ5 back in high school? :D

SCORE CR 27 does not specify what type of muffler, and I have never seen them even look at the exhaust system, even at the races they require spark arrestors. They did make Jesse James change his exhaust because it did not exit in back of the cab, his originally came out at the bottom of the front wheel wells on his first TT.

I have a flowmaster 40's series on my b2. It sounded great with just the 2.9 - nice and somewhat deep, but with the 4.0 in it now it just sounds really raspy and annoying:(
I don't know - it may be do to the size of the exhaust pipes or even the headers that I put on with the new motor:confused: I imagine it all has a lot to do with many other variables and just tweaking the system as a whole to get what you want/need.
I have heard great things about spintech though too.
